- The FOP represents 114 local lodges from various police organizations throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We value the opinion of our local lodge officers who provide advice and direction on constituents from their respective areas. This committee can provide assistance with locating all of the lodges in your district so that you can meet and discuss issues with them prior the State Committee providing consideration for an endorsement.
- The FOP will not usually issue an endorsement prior to filing deadlines, however, early endorsement requests will be considered.
- Once the Committee has completed its evaluation, a recommendation is submitted to the FOP’s Executive Board for consideration and approval.
- All efforts will be made to notify candidates of a decision as soon as possible following action by our Board. Such notification is made in writing, on official FOP-PA letterhead and signed by the FOP’s President.
- The FOP reserves the right to withdraw its endorsement at any time and/or modify this procedure for any reason and without prior notice.
